1. Is paying Online safe?
Yes, it is, probably more secure than writing a cheque, giving your card number over the phone or faxing your details!
2. Who does Green Demon Use for payments and why?
We use the ANZ Egate secure payment system for credit card payments and Paypal.
The advantage to you is that we never actually get to see your card details, only your delivery address.
3. So how does your payment system work - is it simple?
When you checkout (i.e. when you have finished shopping and have all you want) you are given the option to pay using your credit card or a PayPal account - lots of frequent online shoppers use PayPal for convinience, security and speed - or, if you don't have a PayPal account and don't want to set one up, you have the option of simply entering your card details and postal address for delivery. You simply enter your details when prompted.
4. Is there any other way to pay apart from online?
You can also pay by direct deposit (EFT) and have the goods sent out as you would with the PayPal system. The only slight drawback is that we have to wait for the funds to clear (usually 2-5 days), whereas paying by PayPal and Credit Cards is instant. You will need to contact us first with your order & your delivery address. We will then send you an email with the total amount to be deposited. You will need to enter these EFT details:

Please enter your first name and surname as the reference (or as many characters as the text field will allow).
You can also phone us and pay via credit card over the phone.
To speed up the process and have you spend less of your valuable time on the phone, please email us at info@greendemon.com.aufirst with the order details so we can work out postage and a final invoice amount. You are welcome to indicate a day and time you would like to be called back to proccess your order, or you can of course simply phone us when you are ready.
If you are put through to our answering service please leave your phone number and name and we will return your call as soon as possible (usually within a few hours).
5. My product is damaged - how do i return it?
In the unlikely event of your goods arriving with some damage, please contact us at: returns@greendemon.com.au before sending back. After we have discussed the issue, please repack and send to:

6. Postage: how does my product reach me?
We have a contract with Fastway Couriers and have fixed costs for pricing. Apart from the large items (Bokashi Buckets, Pumpod and Earthbox) the costs for postage are roughly the same whichever part of Australia you live in. The cost of postage is calculated on the purchase value, not the postcode or amount. We absorb approx. 25% of the postage cost for you. Essentially the more you spend the cheaper the postage gets, so buying a $1 pen has the same postage amount as buying 20 $1 pens.
7. I have changed my mind - can i swap or get a refund?
In most instances yes you can, but the postage costs are your responsibility and the goods must be in 'as new' condition (prefferably unopened) and unused. When you purchase a product from us it is on the understanding that if you need to return for any other reason than faulty goods you will incurr postage, re-stocking and bank/PayPal fees.
8. Do you have any other products that are not listed on the website?
Yes we do, past product lines and further products from our manufacturers and supplliers are sometimes available. Please contactinfo@greendemon.com.au if there is something you can't find. if we don't have it, we can usually get it quickly.
9. How do i know that your products are really organic or eco-friendly?
A frequent question. On the info page relating to the product there is information regarding the manufacturers proccesses, ingredients and general information. We have of course done our best to check that this information is correct and most of our suppliers are affilliated with a certifing entity. Where this certification is available, we will post on the product information page. As a final endorsment, we use and test all of our products on a daily basis!
